No, we don't have a duck (or a goose) waddling around the office shouting "Matlack! Matlack!" And Susan Jones is just Susan Jones.
So what's with the Matlack?
Matlack is Susan's maiden name, and she added it to her company name to honor her father, Jack Matlack, who was prominent in the Portland advertising community for many years.
Susan comes from a long line of famous Matlacks, including Flapjack Matlack, a traveling chef with the Mid-Century Pioneer Relocation Project; Tacky Jackie Matlack, a riverboat gambler and dance hall girl from New Orleans; Trap Knack Matlack, who taught Houdini everything he knew but died of starvation after a run-in with a particularly menacing Chinese finger puzzle; and Jump Back Matlack, guitar player with Permanent Moss, who joined the group one week after Mick Jagger quit.
