Our company is strongly committed to technological advances, fiscal security, and sustainability. Our online system gives clients fast, secure, and paperless access to their financial information. It also creates additional fiscal controls through e-mail alerts and an online database of payments. Unlike online bill pay, our system maintains the fiscal security needed in the nonprofit sector. We have a close relationship with all of our clients and monitor payments submitted online to ensure that proper documentation and authorization has been provided. Your database tracks who authorized the payments, and allows you to code payments to appropriate expense accounts and funding sources. The following features are available to your organization:
- FINANCIAL REPORTS and educational materials are available online to be accessed by our clients, or authorized representatives. For your organization, this means that your chief executive and board members will be capable of downloading financials through a secure login. Past financial statements and reports will also be available online in your database.
- ONLINE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE allows your organization to authorize cash disbursements online. You can designate multiple authority levels for unique users. For example, you can authorize an office manager to input requests for payments by scanning invoices through our system. When the office manager has finished, an e-mail is sent to the appropriate authority. Once the payments have been approved for disbursement, SMJ & Associates will print the checks. This system allows for a high level of fiscal control, while being customizable for each client’s needs. We can even send an automated e-mail to your board treasurer with a listing of disbursements, if that is what your organization requires as a fiscal control.
- ONLINE CASH RECEIPTS allows your organization to submit deposit information to us securely.
